Who We Are

Todd was doing back country travel before “overlanding” was even a term in the industry. His experience with Land Rovers, expedition travel, back country travel and survival have driven his passion to work in this field with the vehicles he loves. Todd Eliason is a Land Rover enthusiast and the owner of Columbia Roving. He’s been involved with the Land Rover and off road overlanding communities fo r30 years. His passion for the vehicles translates into a quality service that you can depend on. But above all else, he values integrity. When you come into the shop, you can trust that he’ll do everything he can to help. 

Todd has a technical background that aligns perfectly to the computerized vehicles most of us are driving today. His background includes: 

• 20 years in the data networking and server-computing industry holding certifications such as MCSE and CCNA
• 30 years of Search and Rescue operations as a command officer with Mountain Wave Search and Rescue, including 10 years of V.P. and Board of Directors, specializing in radio communications
• Emergency Medical Responder
• Commercial pilot’s license
• Interest and passion in technical hobbies, varying from solar electricity, building custom L-ion battery support units, GPS, HAM radio reloading, and especially camping
